About us...
Yottabyte craft chocolate, founded in 2015, a curator of ethically sourced and socially responsible chocolate and candy makers.
In the very early stages of creating Yottabyte, we were shocked by the unfair practices in the cacao industry. The images of children enslaved in the cacao farms are haunting. We realized in order to become part of the chocolate world, we needed to be committed to helping end these barbaric practices. Unfortunately most of the major chocolate makers in the world are just beginning to move beyond marketing gimmicks, and take meaningful steps to an ethical supply chain.
Yottabyte shares the stories of social inequality in cacao production, because education about cacao production is the key step to reach our ultimate goal, of a global market where 100% ethically produced chocolate is the standard everywhere.
